Would I Lie to the Duke by Eva Leigh
5.0
This second installment was a delight!
It's clear from the beginning that Jess is pretending to be a high society lady to save her family business. Because of that, it is easy to expect and anticipate the big conflict to be her being exposed.
Noel loves that he can truly let all of his ducal responsibilities be put aside when he spends time with Jess. They have intelligent conversation, and he is smitten with her wholeheartedly.
I couldn't get enough of this book. Their chemistry was fantastic from the meet cute onward, and their banter was top tier. The sexy times were also delightful with a submissive hero.
All in all, I cannot wait to continue this series!
