While Emily Henry can be hit or miss for me, this was a hit. Fast paced & cute, a twist on 'typical' romcom tropes, predictable but still engaging.

Nora's life revolves around supporting her sister, Libby. So when Libby asks for a vacation to the middle of BFE, Nora reluctantly agrees to work remotely while attempting to check off every "small town romance" trope on her sister's list. Shockingly, she runs into a man she had one bad interaction with so obviously they are enemies. Also shockingly, they have more in common than they realized and neither of them is the stone cold bitch the world thinks they are.

Did anything in this book non-sarcastically shock me? nope. Did I still have fun reading about a city girl wearing heels bumbling around a small town and falling in love? yep. Also mad props to any book that has a childfree woman who actually stays that way instead of magically changing her mind in 5 minutes "because kids".
