The 5 Second Rule: Transform Your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage by Mel Robbins

This book could have been summed up in 1/4 of the length. It repeative and long winded.. drawing out for no reason. Constant random names of "people" who claim to have used the method and succeeded pretty much saturated the book without any real source proven that these people really exist. The "rule" the author over and over states she created is not anything new. It is something we all logically know. It felt indulgent and way to long. Yes getting off your butt gets stuff done. Counting down to get your butt out of bed does work if you are already motivated to begin with. If you want change using a simple aid like counting does help... But it isn't something new or recently discovered. There are those who do and those who don't... it is up to you to choose which one of those people you want to be and then use all the mental power in you to not talk yourself out of it. Logical.
