Captive of the Horde King by Zoey Draven
5.0
Re-Read: 02/03/22
4.8 stars.
I loved this book the first I read it.
Loved the world that this author built, with all the complexities of the Dakkari culture and their fight against the brutal Ghertun.
I loved reading it a second time and once again immersing myself in that world.
The way Luna and the Arokan’s relationship develops and they grow to trust and care for one another is beautiful and so sweet, though rough for most of it because of their ignorance of each other.
Plus the sex is hot and steamy and has that alien flare that I love from books in this genre.
So good.
So glad I decided to reread the series before starting the newest book.
I had forgotten a lot of what happened and when and with who.
