Alexis Hall is a romance writer like no other, someone who writes messy and complicated characters who fall in love not in spite of their differences, but because of them. Sam is on the verge of being fired by Jonathan when an accident gives him a stay of execution while he recovers from a maybe-not-so-real concussion. The way these two opposites come together is silly in all the best ways and beautifully romantic, with the Alexis Hall signature cast of ludicrous characters surrounding them. I love this so much.

Hall writes the most ridiculous people behaving in absolutely ludicrous ways, and I'm not just talking about his completely bananas and adorable supporting cast. Jonathan and Sam are just as ridiculous as the rest of them, but that's okay.
