P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern
5.0
What can I say about this book? This book has exceeded my expectations. I saw my mother going through a similar situation when my Papa passed away. They were so happily married and all of a sudden with eight months of fighting against cancer she had to let him go. After 25 years of companionship, my mom was left with three of us. I wish I would read this book at that time so that I could have helped her more. It is really hard to understand for even closed ones that how a person who lost her everything she ever cherished and loved feels and goes through. Holly Kennedy is an inspiration. Before reading the book, I read a lot of negative reviews like the movie is better and blah blah. But Cecelia did not try to make this story a fantasized one rather a realistic one and that is the best part of the book. This book is a tribute to everyone who lost their most loved ones. I would love to reread this book again. I smiled, cried, and got overwhelmed with the flow of the story. Family, friends, good memories and overall a willpower can help anyone survive a terrible life happily. Thanks Cecelia for this wonderful book.
