Oh my god this book is so funny and insanely relatable even though I'm not all that similar to the author. I laughed out loud multiple times while reading this and read numerous passages to my husband because I was dying to share how good they were. I feel like Irby struck the right note of self-depreciation where we're laughing along with her but it doesn't turn into a pity party, but readers who aren't at all tolerant of that sort of humor (or basic body humor) probably wouldn't enjoy this. I, however, greatly enjoyed this book and am dying to read the rest of what Irby has written. She has exactly the kind of voice I'd love to hear more of.
