I think this book was an excellent end to the Greenbone saga, I was so incredibly invested in the characters and their relationships.

I nearly teared up at some of the deaths in this book, not just because of the loss of that character but for the effect it had on the other characters.

I think the one thing that detracted for me was the way timing worked in this book; rather than one linear story there were many time jumps throughout the story. At the beginning it was a bit confusing, but by the end it made sense and I enjoyed seeing how characters lives played out over the years (so not a real minus).  Would recommend this series to anyone who likes fantasy and mob/family dynamics!
