Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders
5.0
This book seems to have shot to the top of my best ever list. I put off reading it for ages because the structure seemed so odd. When I finally picked it up I was gripped from the start.... So poignant and not just the story of Lincoln and his son. Despite being sad at times it was not a sad book...more very cleverly written to give sadness a context that was overall meaningful and even positive. I really love this book. And full of stories around one story. Beautiful
