TELL ME WHY I WANNA GO AND READ ALL 2495000 BOOKS IN THIS SERIES. This held up so well in my opinion, even though it was first published in the 80's! I loved it so much (and maybe that's because I'm a childhood educator and the series is all about babysitting), but I loved how the book also tackled a lot of other issues too, like having divorced parents and their parents dating again, navigating friendships and learning life lessons along the way! I also LOVED how gender stereotypes were challenged in this! We love to see it!

trigger warnings: death of a parent from cancer (in the past), divorced parents, talk of dieting.
