Absolutely tremendous biography of Washington. Explains some of the more nettlesome issues with him, doesn't deify him, but instead attempts to get inside his head, and by doing so, makes him more real and all the more remarkable. Well written, concise and quickly paced, i cannot recommend this book highly enough.
