Here are just some questions I'm left with after finishing this frankly unsatisfying read -
Where was his explanation for the women he let himself be photographed with?
Why did Lottie NEVER say anything about him being photographed with a woman when they first started seeing each other?
Why was it ok for his mom to just pop in and everything be ok after what she did?
Why was Vicky the one to stand up for Lottie when his mother was introducing her by the wrong name and serving her alcohol, knowing her mom was an alcoholic so she didn’t drink?
Why, when Vicky stood up for Lottie, did Ollie get mad at Lottie for not saying anything when HE should’ve been the one standing up for her?
Why was it never brought up that he literally called her being cautious and worried due to having an alcoholic mother baggage?
Why was there absolutely ZERO grovel from Ollie but especially after him being adamant to her that she was family, only to turn around and to tell her to fuck off out of HIS family’s business??
I was left feeling concerned about how this author is going to write Vicky's autistic character after finishing book one and after reading this that worry hasn't gone away. I guess we will see. If I wasn't so interested in Vicky I don't think I would read this author again.
