this book gives a harsh look into the caste system that every american lives under and explains how it has affected every american since the country began. it shows how the caste system continues today. it’s extremely heavy and heartbreaking. it’s informative and makes me want to keep learning about these issues so that i can become a better friend and ally to every person i meet. i’m thankful for this book for teaching me and i plan to continue to learn and grow and love.
