This one was exactly what I was looking to read. I hadn’t read contemporary romance in a while (shocker, I know), and wanted to feel that excitement again when you can just feel the connection people have through the pages. 

Violet and Cain had chemistry. The book wasn’t perfect, but, damn, did I enjoy it. It also really talked about something, maybe more so than some of the author’s other books. I don’t remember the specifics (because I read it a while ago), but she really examined the characters’ psyche and their feelings on a level I was pleasantly surprised by.
