The Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth

5.0

I could not put this one down! I must say, this author did two of my favorite things. Had short chapters keeping me engaged and flipping the pages and wrote a complicated mystery that starts off with a bang.

I love to be sucked in, bit by bit. This story worked so well being told through both Lucy and Diana. The characters in this book were well defined and I felt a connection to each of them.

Not only was I trying to solve the mystery but also weaving my way through complicated relationships and life circumstances. I am left feeling happy, sad, hopeful, and shocked. I will read more books by this author.
