I was initially drawn to this book, but my enthusiasm quickly turned to disappointment. After discovering that the author, Dr. Mindy Peltz, is a chiropractor and not a nutrition expert, I lost confidence in her credibility on the subject. Further research revealed that other medical professionals and experts in the field of nutrition have publicly expressed concerns regarding Dr. Peltz's views and advice on nutrition. Lack of scientific evidence, overemphasis on restrictive diets, and potential for misinformation are among the criticisms.
