So this was my 5th Sarah Adam’s book, and this was most definitely my favorite one to date! I freaking loved June & Ryan’s relationship so so much. This had a one sided enemies to lovers trope, and June’s witty mean banter will make you cackle out loud. To know Ryan is to love Ryan, and once you get to know him, there’s no doubt you will absolutely love him!

Ryan was June’s arch nemesis all high school. Once they graduate Ryan takes off for France and 12 years go by. When their best friends’ wedding brings them back together, June is still out for blood. Ryan on the other hand is on a mission to win her over. Even if June has a change of heart, could they even work? She owes a doughnut shop in Charleston and he’s a famous chef in Chicago.
