Wow I loved this. I never loved then hated then loved a character with so much passion all in one book.
Was this relationship toxic at times? yes. But it was passionate, heartbreaking, and wonderful all at the same time. I wanted to throw the book across the room sometimes because the FMC and MMC had me so frustrated. I cried at times. I laughed. I loved. This book was a roller coaster in the best way possible.
Despite being about a literal rockstar, this Ashley Jade made this story feel so relatable. We watched the characters battle with self-image and insecurity. Characters battled their inner demons. They made mistakes. They own their mistakes and fight to make it right.
This book consumed me. Its ~700 pages long and I spent every free, waking moment to read it all in the span of 24 hours because I was just that captivated.
“Music sets my soul on fire, but she makes my heart beat.”
