Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid

3.0

It took me a while to really think through what I'd like to say about this book.
I'll start with the fact that I ready enjoyed reading it. It was pleasurable and easy read. I felt entertained with a storyline. I might be very biased about the characters in this book because the personal reasons. Myself, being a babysitter for a long time it seemed a little traumatic in the beginning. Like ale my PTSD from that time comes back to hunt me. More and more I get to know the characters, more I understood there are many stories that could be told. I feel as tho those characters could be less shallow and have some more psychological background. For me answering questions of why someone is doing what she's doing is crucial to might try to understand that person and sometimes I like having less to my own interpretation. Like I said, if I decided to read this book despite my own bias, I'd like to have some more insight of what the author picture in her head about those characters. Besides that, I like this book very much and even ending, that I know many disapproved of, I found very life like.
