Yep, this was my favorite of all the secret projects! I already gave Tress a 4.5 so the only logical consequence is a full 5 stars. Not counting rereads it is my fourth 5 star book this year.
Especially the "Sanderlanche" in this book felt so epic and very reminiscent of some of his best work (mainly Way of Kings and Words of Radiance) and yeah as fan of the Stormlight Archive you're gonna adore this book.
But the other parts were also great. Really interesting Worldbuilding, compelling characters, also some pretty good humour in conversations and many cool nods and connections to the Cosmere. The book is certainly fan service but in that I think it is done to perfection.
