I found the first third/half a little slow to get into, but once I was in it I was IN it.
The classic enemies-to-lovers trope (were they ever really enemies?), I love the way Emily Henry writes people getting together. I really enjoyed that this one was about two writers, and that they challenged each other to swap genres as a bet. A great concept for a rom-com!
I found my interest waning a little towards the end, and would definitely have rated this higher had my enjoyment of it been spread more evenly through the book.
Either way, i'm really enjoying reading (listening to) Emily Henry's books - this being my second after You and Me on Vacation, which I gave four stars - and pleasantly surprised at how much I am so.
