I hate the cover and the title of this book. It’s so wattpad. But here are my thoughts:

I saw this recommended on tiktok so I thought I’d give it a shot. It’s not something I’d normally read because I’m not into possessive/dark romance novels but this book was decent anyway.

Both characters, Chloe and Nikolai, had a lot of secrets and mysteries to them which made me more inclined to actually finish the book because I was curious about what they were hiding. I think if they didn’t have their secrets and it was JUST a love story, I would’ve hated it. But since there were a lot of secrets and a plot twist/cliff hanger at the end, it made the book more enjoyable.

However, I don’t see myself reading the rest of the series because I don’t really care to continue it. Also idk why but the sex passages were super cringe but that might be because I’m not used to reading books that are so explicit.
