White Noise by Don DeLillo
2.0
Technically good. A solid piece of postmodernism. I like Gladney's son, an adolescent going through a sophist phase like a teen might go through an emo phase.
But experientially this all became such a chore after the first hundred pages. Plenty of amusing or thought-provoking tidbits that never feel like they come together to create a whole that's worth much. No momentum. I almost gave up several times.
