Summer Hours at the Robbers Library by Sue Halpern
4.0
PopSugar 2020 Summer Reading Challenge: A Book with “summer” in the title.
This was a book I chose purely for the title alone and in order to fulfill the prompt. I was not expecting to like it but ended up enjoying it. Kit changes her last name and moves to New Hampshire to get away from her past. Solstice aka "Sunny" steals a dictionary and is sentenced to working at the library over the summer, under Kit. Then Rusty shows up, someone who lost his job in the recession and is searching for free money by using the free resources at the local library. Nothing overly memorable or that has a wow factor. Just a good quality story, that includes books and libraries bringing people together.
