Honestly, I couldn't bring myself to give a shit about any of the characters. The pacing was slow. And when the romance got introduced I audibly groaned because insta-love between two characters you don't care about is right below reading about heavily romanticized toxic relationships on the tier of romance in books. If you can't tell by now, this book was certainly not for me.
