Rat Queens, Vol 3: Demons by Kurtis J. Wiebe
4.0
The Queens return and they're on a mission to save Hannah's dad, who's been imprisoned for mysterious reasons. The trip to Hannah's hometown creates opportunities for us to learn new secrets about a couple of the Queens, and gives us interesting team-ups between characters we hadn't seen together much in the past, such as Violet and Betty.
Tara Fowler's art does an impressive job capturing the same feel as previous issues, although I know I'm not the only one who felt like boobs were bigger and more of a focus for some reason. One thing I really appreciated over past arcs was how colour was used to delineate scene transitions - the flow of this arc was much clearer for me than the last one. The volume ends with a special feature on Braga, whom we met as one of the Orc adventurers in Palisade.
