Too bad I really enjoyed The Fake Mate. Dual narration was fantastic here, but the spice was too cringey.

I got the ick somewhere along the way and I’m not sure how/why? I think it was the long nails. 

Also, this was too long and I kept zoning out. I wasn’t emotionally invested here at all. Too bad because the cover is sooo cute and I enjoyed the setting. 

I’ll still try another monster romance though.
