This anthology brings together a number of Gale Yee’s writings, most of which have been published previously elsewhere, but some appearing for the first time in this volume. This is an excellent introduction to Yee’s work! Her chapter on Ruth as both “model minority” and “perpetual foreigner” will stay with me for a while.
