The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

5.0

Listen... this book/series is incredibly close to my heart. The story is so beautifully told, the setting so endearing, and the characters so incredibly real that I am not a reasonable person to ask about whether or not you should read this BECAUSE ALREADY SHOULD HAVE.

Honesty hour: Stiefvater is a purple prose writer. Sometimes it is the most beautiful shit you've ever read, sometimes it doesn't make any sense. If you can be okay with that then read the hell out of everything she writes. If you can't get down with lyrical prose then I suggest you keep on walking because all of this is going to seem overly dramatic to you.

But if you can: Read. This. Series. Yesterday.

Blue is rad.
Gansey is the boyfriend I wish I would have had in high school.
Adam and Ronan must be protected at all costs.
Noah, Noah, Noah, Noah, Noah...
