I love the Hobbit, I love the lord of the rings movies, even the extended edition ones where the movies are so long they are on two dvds. My brain automatically thought, stands to reason I will love the books. Dear god, why are these books so slow. I remember having a mini breakdown when we didn't even leave the shire until 150 pages in.
