Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey
3.0
It's not a ~bad~ book but I don't like Tessa Bailey's style. The way the stories and characters are formulated is annoying. There's no subtlety or finesse. I was able to ignore it while reading "It Happened One Summer" because at least I was invested in the characters, but I couldn't do it again, not for this story. Hannah was an unremarkable protagonist. Fox's "tragic" backstory did not garner sympathy from me. The conflict keeping them apart was so dumbbbb. I doubt I will ever read Tessa Bailey again.
