What a DELIGHTFUL novella. I love independent bookstores and Christmas settings. This was going to be a smash for me from the jump. I knew going into it that it was a novella, but I would have LOVED a full length novel to really build up the snark/enemy aspect, but for the length this was absolutely perfect. Excellent representation, and I LOVED seeing a demisexual character for the first time (to me). I wish that aspect was a little more fleshed out, but I’m sure we’ll see more of that/something similar from Chloe in the future :)
