I enjoy listening Field Goal: Vegas Aces: The Playbook, Book 5
Narrators Lance Greenfield and Callie Dalton
did an excellent job portraying all lead and supporting characters!
They brought something special to this story and made it so much better!
Both These narrators were absolutely amazing on this Audiobook!

Ok let’s get to this ..
Travis
is a great guy, he stepped up to being a father when he needed to,heck he is a great dad, he jumped into a relationship though he’d never been in one before, I was absolutely team Travis no Questions asked.
This guy has grown since much, especially since he started becoming the dad and then husband. He has literally made a turn for the better once he realized his feelings towards his daughter and Victoria.

Victoria
Sighhhh. I’m not gonna lie or sugar coat this but let me tell you this FMC .. this Character,
To say I dislike and disagree with her in these last two books would be an understatement !She made an unbelievable unnecessary decision/drama, I found her to be very selfish, annoying and very frustrating!
Listen, I could understand that she had idea of how she wanted her life to be but the fact that she kept saying “me , me, me, so often then blaming Travis for everything is unbelievable when She is only looking out for herself
Her needs.Her dreams.

Victoria knew Travis had never been in a relationship or been in love, (not to excuse him ) but she knew and fell in love with this famous athlete but expected him not to have made any mistakes or have media attention is unrealistic, especially when said issues aren’t even ones to blame him for.
So as soon as he made a few simple mistakes she decided to quit, to file divorce to throw in the towel just because..just like that.
Listen I’m still left wondering why? What am I missing?

But Travis loved her enough for both of them  not to quit ... So this man begged, yes begged pleaded and did the grand jester thing that just got me even more frustrated with Victoria. Because Surprise, surprise
The grand jester is what made her change her mind about leaving him .. ( that scene didn’t make me like her one bit )
Victoria should be the one groveling, I strongly believe this.

But.. yeah, I was so happy for Travis , he really deserved to be happy even if it’s with Victoria who gave him unnecessary grief… and infuriated me.
I did enjoy the series despite not connecting with Victoria and got to listen to how Narrator Lance Greenfield gave an exciting sports commentary!  will definitely be listening more of these sports romance stories written by Lisa Suzanne even when and if the characters make me want to pull out my hair!
