No After You by Nicole Pyland
4.0
I was initially thinking of Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss (which I don't know much about and am not a shipper). Then I was thinking of Hayley Kiyoko and Becca Tilley due to how the relationship developed.
The speed at which this book's relationship transpired was scary. The lesbian U-haul joke wasn't exaggerated since sapphic relationships tend to be so intense in such a short time which gives them the potential to be explosive. So I kept looking out for some drama but fortunately, this book was very low-key, no unnecessary drama and angst. I was able to enjoy this book and how Peyton and Dani became friends to lovers.
Lastly, I’m sorry but that cover needs update. I got the title, but the cover was just a no. I kept mistaking this book for one written in the 80-90s or something, so I kept skipping it on my TBR list. Then I read the Fire by Pyland which then prompted me to read this one.
Overall 4/5. Looking forward to the next book in the series (which interestingly was written/published before this book).
