The first time I ever read this was when I was a teenager. This is the book that made me fall in love with reading. This memoir follows a young Elie Wiesel and his time at Auschwitz. This is his story of heartbreak and losing his family. This is his story of surviving concentration camps and Nazi Germany. This should be a must read for every reader. It’s raw and it’s emotional. It makes you really think and reflect.
