It reminded me of Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren. But I love that book more than anything. This one had a twist I expected from the beginning that I wasn't sure how I felt about. It's a complicated situation, I wouldn't know how to get past it if I was in the middle of. But the characters were loveable and their banter made me laugh out loud multiple times. It was also way spicier than I anticipated.
