I loved it. It's entirely different to The Goblin Emperor, but just as well-written, just as great at worldbuilding, and just as amazing at portraying complicated characters wrestling with themselves as well as the outside world. Also, the various mysteries and challenges Thara faces are so well plotted and slot together perfectly. Not just great fantasy, a grear crime novel as well.
I hope Addison writes many more books set in this world.
