Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon
4.0
If you have gotten this far in the Outlander series, you might agree with me that each book concludes about 2 arcs while starting 5 new ones. It's difficult for me to review each book since the Outlander books are so unique in how the stories are told in multiple novels. One could compare the Outlander series to a soap opera but more believable.
This books reads/feels much like the last 2 novels. There are a lot of different story lines that are addressed.
This novel has the Mackenzies travelling down to Savannah, William searching for his cousin (believed to be dead), Jamie and Claire trying to keep Fraser's Ridge together through rising tensions between Loyalists and Revolutionaries.
Characters we haven't heard from in "years" reappear (naturally) and new antagonists set the stage for the next big conflict.
I am still enjoying reading about these characters and their adventures, big and small. The writing continues to be engaging but also lyrical at times.
