I was skeptical of this book but a writer friend recommended and I needed something to get me out of a slump. This book made me rethink about how I was writing and the reason  I write and how to embrace my creativity. 

Now, they were some times where Gilbert got a little too woo-woo for my tastes or where things didnt apply to me but overall I was able to take away a lot and it made me really think about my career in a new way.
