I figured I'd like this one, as I tend to really love Bradbury's work, and I was absolutely right! What a great story! As usual, his writing is absolutely stellar, too, poetic and evocative and lovely to the bone. There is a bit of strangeness, though, in the fact that it's not the leads I really cared about, but Will's father. He completely steals the show! Maybe it's because I'm reading as an adult and not a kid, but still. Also, hoo boy, this story gets dark in ways I never expected. What a fantastic ride!
