It took me a few days to finally shape this review. I'm so completely lost between Paulo Coelho's words that I can't find my own. Everyone around me raved about this book, and now I know the hype. What a beautiful experience. Everything about the journey, the stories, the hardships and the wisdom that basically made the book heavier than it is really swept me off of my feet into the hot desert of my home; Egypt. This book is a necessity, a beautiful reminder of what our parents and grandparents have been telling us for years on end. Definitely a favorite of mine.
