I was very close to giving up this series but to my surprise really enjoyed this one. Issues are there in terms of "assault as character motivation when convenient", "perpetrator of assault is cold-blooded psychopath with greater plan at work". A little ambiguous in terms of representation of Native Americans, but from a german perspective I really liked the reckoning with the influence of Karl May
