3.75 I just wanna say, that even tho the message of the book was an important one, i feel like Simione’s personality was just that she was black, and bisexual. Like i’m not black and neither racist but that’s how i saw it, and tbh it hurt so much to read for her point of view when she didn’t realize that she really was only thinking about her bf instead of spending time with her friends as well, that was so hard ti read because i lost a friend because of teh same reason she started to get volder because she was “busy” with her bf, but anyway i loved the ending even tho i feel like it was obvious how it ended, i loved the take on a gay couple taking care of teh main character i just wish the author covered a bit more on that aspect, overall a good book, i loved him, but Simione just didn’t feal like a real person
