It's absolutely terrifying how this mirrors some of our society here in America still. Shows how little things have even changed. And how close we are to being controlled by these dangerous and often powerful people. Margaret Atwood's writing is beautiful and haunting. She leaves a lot of room for the reader to form their own opinions and conclusions while still crafting a detailed and complete story. Her characters are complex and real.
