Brilliant and challenging. The first chapter stalled me--despite Diaz's stunning prose, I just couldn't see where it was all going. Oh sometimes I can be a dope--because it got so good and compelling FAST and I just couldn't put it down until I got to the end. Diaz is genius. Read this book.
