3.5.... this is my first REAL smut books besides 50 shades. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but I actually kinda liked it! I will say the “step brother / step sister” thing is over played for sure but what do we really expect with that trope. I think this book had a really exciting and different plot. It was sexy while also talking about some serious topics. Blair was such a strong female lead and a badass! I really appreciated that (especially since 50 shades was the complete opposite). I found some scenes pretty repetitive and borderline unnecessary but I really liked the suspenseful aspect of this book. Think dark romantic suspense. With all of that being said I’m actually looking forward to reading other smut books so thank you for introducing me to my new favorite genre
