Definitely enjoyed this more on a re-read, because I read it in chronological order. I read this shortly after it came out, a while after having read Network Effect, and I didn't remember enough of either Exit Strategy OR Network Effect to be able to suitably place it in time. This got back to my favorite parts of Murderbot: less plot-heavy, more "how to relate to humans and figure out what I actually want out of life." I'm looking forward to delving into the novel length book with this context!
