I loved every minute of reading this book.
This was a ‘why choose’ romance done exactly right.

You have Gabriel. The virgin, who needs a little guidance and teaching. Who’s the same age as the FMC, the angsty, edgy teenager, he’s fond of torturing people. Teaching Iris to get answers as she teaches him to get pleasure.

You have Baron. The broody, silent, hateful one who’s a little older. Grew up with Gabriel like a brother. He hides from Iris as much as possible, but in the end he just can’t keep her out of his head.

Then you have Silas. The father, the head of the family. He’s in his early forties, but still fit and handsome as ever. He’s cool, calm, serious. He guides Iris through the business, making sure she can handle herself. Making sure she’s strong enough for their life.

All three together are so different and so hot. I love it.

Then there’s the dark parts of the book. They’re hit men. Neutral. Will take any job, except children, for the right price so long as it’s not too risky for themselves.
There’s a lot of violence in this book. Iris turns into a complete badass by the end.
I always like books like this better when the FMC joins in on the fun and doesn’t get all prissy and let morality ruin a good time.

This was such a good read. The sex. The plot. The character development. The romance. All so good, though a bit twisted.

I will definitely be looking into this author’s back list of books sometime soon.
Thank you book-Tok for the this third book rec. you’ve really been hitting it out of the damn park for me.
