As White as Snow by Salla Simukka, Owen F. Witesman
3.0
Hmm. Not sure on this.
As White as Snow continues to follow Lumikki, our teenage protagonist who just wants to keep her head down and not get involved in any drama, and in this one book, just wants to explore the sights of Prague in peace. One day, a young woman approaches Lumikki and drops the bombshell that she is Lumikki's half-sister and that they have the same father. But something seems off about this young woman (Lenka). Soon, Lumikki finds herself swept up in a religious cult, and is once again trying to stay alive.
Now, while I did enjoy the first book in this series, I have mixed feelings on this one. I just didn't enjoy it like the first one. Lumikki seemed to have had a personality change, and the twists seemed predictably. Undecided on whether I will be reading the next book. Meh.
