Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi

Half way through this book, I really wasn’t sure. But as I got to know all the characters and how all their stories intertwined, it left me yearning for more.

Yes perhaps it could have been given more depth, but I think that’s the beauty of the book. It leaves much to the imagination and leaves you enough room to ponder on each story and each situation.

This was a fantastic book, it was beautifully simple and really warmed my heart. I welled up a few times and although there were multiple silly rules which seemed like it prevented all the good and exciting things from time travel, it allows us to think about what really matters. It wasn’t about changing the future, it was about changing your outlook and your heart. Delightful read.
